Well yesterday was my 22nd birthday and I got some great presents and quality time with great friends. And last night I went to get a tattoo! My first one. It was scary, and I was nervous. I went in expecting the worst pain ever. I am not going to lie, it hurt. But after it was over with, I am glad I stuck with it and didn’t give up half way through. (That wouldn’t have looked cool with only a few lines of black on my foot.)
So this is not about tattoos at all, but I was just thinking while I was sitting in pain, so go with me on this…
In life it is important to stick with things. It is easy to try a short cut or get someone else to do it for you. With technology it is easy to find that easy way out. But if you want something bad enough, jump in and go for it! Don’t give up. Even though it may hurt and it may be tough, but after you see the finished result, it will be worth it. Whether it is a new project, getting in shape, something at work, a relationship, getting a good grade, whatever…If you really want it to happen, stick with it and give it all you can, you’ll be glad you did in the end.
And here is a picture of my tattoo if you want to see it. It is the word faith, and if you look at it the other way it says hope:

Way to go girl. It looks great. I hope you’re not hooked now like some other people I know. I think one is enough for me. Paula
