This was one of the best weeks I’ve had in a while! Everything about it, even though it was long, busy, hectic, and crazy…it was all worth it. Let me tell you why:

  • I got to go to Shelby for a couple of days for a little family time before Easter. It was good to see everyone and have time to relax.
  • My wonderful mother and I went to the Michael Buble concert! It was so much fun, we had great seats, and it was an awesome show. If you like his music, I would recommend checking it out, and you can take me with you!
  • I FINALLY had the chance to see my newest cousin, Carlee Dawn. She is five weeks old and the cutest thing. Here is a picture:

  • I was able to come back to Wilmington in time to get my thoughts together, get prepared and prayed up for Sunday. I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew something HUGE was going to happen and the kids were definitely going to have fun learning about Jesus!
  • Then Sunday came around, and it was AMAZING! We had 743 people, a new Lifepoint high, and a total of about 120 kids! I had the chance of visiting most of the classrooms, the kids were having so much fun, the energy was through the roof!
  • The best part was how every single one of the Kidzone workers stepped up and offered to help in any way they could. People were working 2 services, doing roles they didn’t usually do, and all around going above and beyond. I can honestly say Lifepoint has the best children’s workers! Thank you to everyone who helped out and made it happen!
  • Another great part of this week is that it’s only going to get better! I get to look ahead to the future. So it’s time to start preparing…
